About the Author:
Jim Casada
grew up in Bryson City, NC, where he first started hunting and fishing. He taught history at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, then took early retirement to work as writer/photographer for fishing and hunting publications. He is a senior editor and book columnist for Sporting Classics, and a contributing editor to several magazines including Turkey & Turkey Hunting, Sporting Clays, Whitetail News, The Hunting Magazine, Smoky Mountain Living, and other publications.
