From the reviews:
“A beautifully illustrated travel book like this is deadly: It could make you drop everything and go somewhere that could change your life in an instant. Don’t you want to be able to say ‘Been there, done that’ someday? … John Man, the head of this project has produced documentaries for the BBC and written several travel books. This atlas is quite inspiring and manageable, not to mention cleverly arranged.”

“If you’re bing on sumptuous photography and itineraries to the far corners of the globe, you’ll love The New Traveler’s Atlas … a sort of wishbook, reference book and coffee table book all rolled into one. … Taking readers from Scottish isles to the Victorial Falls to Tibet, this book is a great place to begin one’s pre-trip research.”
